No matter what business you are in, you need to get more clients online or offline to increase your revenues and be successful in your business. As an online marketing consultant my main focus is how I can help my clients get more customers as fast as they can.
For this, I constantly research on the best ways and online channels where the target audience spend time. If you are in the business where you work as a coach or selling products that helps other businesses, you would be interested in finding out how to grow your client base quickly as possible.
In this article we will look at the top three ways to get more clients quickly. These methods are used by me and other top internet marketing professionals who have built a successful business.
How to Get More Clients Online
1. Create a Referral System
Referrals are a great way to get more eye balls towards your service or product. This is where someone who has already used your service, share the word with others and recommend you to their networks. For example when I first used the Video Magic software by Rebekka, I was thrilled about its user friendliness and instantly shared it on my twitter feed and other social media channels. This bought in hundreds of more views to her software which might convert into customers.
If you are a service provider you can ask your clients, if they know anyone who would benefit from your service. In one of the old posts on Quick Sprout, I remember how Neil Patel has mentioned about Referrals and how it helped him attract profitable clients. He says “The best clients come from referrals”

In my web services business I still get most of the clients from referrals and last week I got a new £1000 per month client from one of my customers who referred my content marketing service. It’s proven that many small businesses can rapidly grow their client base this way.
What is a Referral Program?
It is a reward based program where anyone can refer a new customer to you and you will compensate them as a reward. This can be a discounted service you offer to them or can be a one of payment. For example, in most of my content writing projects, when someone refer me a new client, I give them a 20% referral commission or give them a £100 off their next PR article.
Normally a formal referral program requires people to sign up for that program. If you are managing a referral program like that, you can send them a newsletter monthly or email them telling about your referral program.
I have found that referrals works well to get more clients fast because when people get to know about your products or services from someone whom they trust, it makes it easy for them to decide the purchase from you.
For example, if you ask me where to get the Next generation Video marketing Software, I will tell you the name of Rebekka’s Video Magic Software, and then you’re more likely to inquire from her than from an unfamiliar software provider, because her software has been recommended to you.
Creating a Affiliate program
This is how people who sell info products get thousands of customers to buy their products on Clickbank. Affiliates help you get access to more clients in a short time by introducing your products to their audience. They promote you in exchange for a commission.
This method may take more effort initially to make your affiliates aware about your products and services; however it can be extremely effective in the long run.
If you look at the Clickbank business model, you can see that affiliates market your products and they drive traffic to your offer. They are motivated to do so, as long as they get a reasonable commission.
The only drawback in this method is that, if there are competitors offering the same service or products, you might have to pay a higher commission to get the affiliates to promote you.
To succeed with your affiliates, you may have to provide them with all the marketing material such as content, landing pages to your offer and advertisements where they can use on their online channels.

The third way to get clients fast is through building partnerships with other marketers. However you have to find reliable partners or else you may lose your credibility in the market.
For example, to get clients for my content writing services, I have developed close relationships and several partnerships with other web designers in Worcester and eBook Publishers in London, United Kingdom. A web designer is a service provider who always comes to contact with clients who needs good content writers to their website. On the other way around when I want to outsource my web designing work, I choose to give it them. This way it’s a win-win situation for each party.
Finally we can see that, to get more clients online and real customers to purchase your products and buy your services, you may use most of your present assets. Also think about exactly what relationships would you forge and from what clients would you ask for referrals?
