No brainer, right? Have you ever gotten the wrong product in the mail, or it was meant for someone else. Maybe it took a lot longer than you expected. One of these has happened to all of us, so always remember to ship the right product to the right person, on time.
Determine what else goes in the box.
Look at the customer’s buying history and see what other relevant products they have bought in the past. If this is their first purchase, send offers or samples to something that would compliment the item they are getting.
Share delivery information.
Let the customer know where their package is at, whether it is leaving the warehouse or in the middle of nowhere America, let them know. In an ever-connected world, customers want to know any status update they can on their purchase. Keep them happy and give them what they want. Doing all of these things to ensure that your customer service experience is the best that it can be will bring you back happy clients who have remembered your brand the next time they are going to make a purchase.
