It’s been some time since I published my last article. The reason was I’ve been busy taking a handful of new local business clients to provide my seo services for them in the coming months. Since dominating the Rubbish Removal London niche in London I had a consistence flow of business owners asking for me to get their websites on the SERP’s. However I could only take the once I preferred, and had to cut down several clients with a negative responds.
I felt a little bad about dropping a top Travel and Hospitality company in Asia. Man if you read this you gotta understand my situation!
So how do I get clients much easily whenever I want?
First of all, I have proof that I have top 1-3 places in those niches with at least one of the websites I manage. This gives complete confidence for those clients to believe that I walk the talk. (This is what helped me to get £2.5 million a year hospitality industry client on board yesterday)
I have my own sites ranked for keywords like “SEO Outsourcing” which is one of toughest to rank in the search engines optimization niche, especially in London and even world wide.
And I pitch so much, until the client gives me a chance to meet them face to face. Actually I have realised it’s better to meet in person and get them on board explaining process of what I do and how it will happen for their websites if they take my services.
What you should do to find clients in your local area for your consultancy business?
- First get the proof – show that you walk the talk (This may take time, but this what helps to convert any business you want)
- Then research the market and pitch the people on the 2rd 3rd and 4th page business on Google. They are the once which may need your consultancy services. This is mainly applicable to Local Search engine optimization and internet marketing!
- Pitch Pitch Pitch everyday until you have enough clients. I use LinkedIn to find clients in London, this is a great platform to connect, then meet and sell.
- Those are the main things I do to find clients with ease and be comfortable to fire any troublesome clients an hire new clients which love working with.
Also I go to Meetups in the city, few times a month if I want to build some new connections which may convert to business opportunities in the long term. It’s those connections we make that helps us create more business opportunists.
In the coming week I will have some great case studies of how I rank some of clients in extremely competitive niches in the London local business market place.
Till then go start a local business and start building your legacy. The economy needs more entrepreneurs to take over the world and create more jobs for people who are born to work for someone for a pay check.
