I completed reading the book by David Allen which shows about Getting Things Done: The Art of Stress-Free Productivity, which I would say one of the best books I read this year on personal development. The book shows some great strategies on how to keep the focus and get the priorities done more efficiently.
In the modern day life we get caught up with so much of distraction and low priority obligations which costs us most of our time. The book show how we can be more productive and use advanced technology rather than just wondering around and do what needs to be done, and book shows systems which is important and that works for our busy life’s.
Personally I fluctuate between awesome days at work and next day I might have strenuous day and haven’t done much at all. Sometimes this routine goes on for days or even weeks which is very unproductive for everyone. Hope you all have moments like that. The thing is, you need to understand where your energy should flow each day. The best advice is having a plan on the previous day night or straight when you get up in the morning on what your day should look like and what the key tasks you need to do on that day.
At our Business we sometimes have very tight deadlines or one of our clients might say “I want to do a PPC camping” and at the same time need new ads design. So I have to allocate time and get the jobs done at the highest standards at all time. These are constant responsibilities but I have managed to use most of the techniques David shows on his book GTD. When you have trustworthy system you do not need to get the unnecessary stress to get the things done.
I would tell building up a business at Start-Up level it might be very hectic and takes greater amounts of your peace but when you have system you will always get the jobs done like BOSS.
So I would highly advice anyone to go have a read and get the life well organised and balanced while getting more and more work done in a day. The book also gave me some elements to add up to our team and we are happy to announce that we just managed to win the RFP for hospitality service provider. Now we are getting ready with a presentation and going to give our best work for our client.
